The 5 Self-Development Books You Need to Read
1) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
This book is usually on most lists for self-development, and there is a good reason for that! This self-help book is a guide to the habits of successful, effective people. However, there runs an incredibly important undertone that forms the real power of the book and the prime takeaway: living with fairness and integrity is the path to maximum efficiency and success.
In a world where shortcuts, secret deals, and dishonesty are prominent, Covey’s classic preaches a message that the world needs more than ever — and shows you how to apply it in the form of simple, straightforward habits.
2) How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
This book is amazing for all you introverts because it is so useful when it comes to learning how to work and communicate with people.
Carnegie does a great job of showing that good communication really has nothing to do with natural talent or smooth words, but knowing the right tactics to use with interacting with others, something everyone can do.
Communication is one of the single most important skills you can work on, given how critical communication is to everything that we do. If you want to improve your communication skills, this book is a must-read!

By the end of You Are a Badass, you'll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can't change, how to change what you don't love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.

I read this book, when I was 22 and partying in Ibiza. It’s a book I would recommend every 20-something should read. The story of Sarah King is quite inspiring and the easy-to-read book will explain how to rid yourself of unwanted obligations, shame, and guilt -- and give your f*cks instead to people and things that make you happy. Leading you into a life you love!
